0:00:30.5 S2: Christina, what the end stands for and what the YANG stands for. No, in is negative. Chris Yang is positive, I am the negative to your positive, we need to talk about these intros, but the best part I love about uniting is at the circle in each end organ is the color of the opposite, and that's supposed to represent just the glimmer of hope that you can be better. Yeah, nothing is just all negative or all positive, they're still the line hope. So hopefully the next podcast, I can be that glitter of focus

0:01:08.7 S1: For so many of us, you already are. Well, today's quote is from Nicola Tesla, who is the inventor of the modern electrical current, among many other things. He said, If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration. I think many women have been telling me that for years too...

0:01:39.9 S2: We had a guess that pretty much write my jokes apart last time and said, I really need to shop these more, and Chris, just write down the gate...

0:01:49.5 S1: Well, Ponce decide, who was a spiritual author, said When your energy vibrates at the frequency that is within direct alignment to what the universe has been attempting to deliver your entire life, you begin to live in the flow and... True start to happen. Today, we attempt to nail perfect harmony, not as a singer, but as an artist, as beings in the universe, a tuning ourselves to a frequency that makes everything else we do easier and more doable with less resistance, positioning our energy so that we are open to pursue the interests and the passions that pull us into this calling of being a musician, so pull up your Lou LOS and grab some granola. We'll be right back after this

Today, we tune our ears to a... Not concert, a Four, also known as 44 hertz, but to a more harmonious frequency of 432 words, 432 hertz is the natural tuning of the universe, a cosmic number related to sacred geometry that has relaxation benefits among many other things.

0:05:07.9 S2: I thought that was 4-20 hertz. So it's

0:05:15.1 S1: Legal now, Chris. It's true, at least here, the golden mean and the universe, I'm gonna tell you a little bit about this, 'cause it's retinitis is worth the context of our episode, it's believed at 432 hertz frequency response is mathematically consistent with the patterns of the universe, 40... 32 RISD to vibrate with the golden mean phi of the universe and unify light time, space matter, gravity and magnetism with biology, the DNA code, and the consciousness.

0:05:50.1 S2: To get all that, I did also magnesium that does all the same stuff that 432 arts does, just so everyone knows out there.

0:05:59.6 S1: Resonating our atoms and DNA with nature leaves us with an even deeper connection to nature and the world around us. The number 432 is also significant as it is reflected in the ration of the sun, earth and moon, as well as in the precession of the Equinox, the Egyptian Great Pyramids, Stonehenge and all these other sacred sites. Seriously like to step up. But I digress this true and powerful frequency is where all things are in balance is best demonstrates that life, music and money are all the same numbers and energy, how can we find balance in our efforts as artists better than having peace of mind that we are where we need to be... That is what it's all about after all. At least what is drawn us to create this approach so that nothing can shake us when dark days come or escape us when the light of success shines, the first note of the financial scale is the yin and the yang of the whole scale. A is for advance.

0:07:14.9 S2: The best part of what you just said is The Light Of Success shines and it's so easy to focus on the dark days and prepping for those, but I think that most people, when they find that success can become comfortable, and if they don't continue to look ahead and who knows what? That rug is pulled out from. One to them, they need to be prepared for that. So I kinda like that book, if you were in the book who moved my cheese.

0:07:43.2 S1: I think you've mentioned it before to me, I don't think I've read... Yeah, you told me that it was a short one. So that appealed to me.

0:07:51.8 S2: So I highly recommend it. It's just how they show that one day they move the cheese on a mouse every single day, and when the cheese is not there, the idea is that Moses will go look for the cheese, the other... Mouse is a key then. Cheese in the same place every day. But as soon as they remove the cheese, has no idea what to do, so that's kind of like the moral of the book, so it's even shorter than the book... What I just said... So actually, you don't have to read it.

0:08:23.2 S1: Okay, well, this idea of an advance is not to be confused with an emergency fund, which is very important, and indeed a note in our financial scale as well, but instead, the advance allows you to be one month ahead of all your income and your expenses... I'm sure you're familiar with the advance that record labels, so kindly give to artists to complete projects or sometimes just to live on while they're waiting for the revenue from their work to come streaming in. Advances are really a standard part of any music making contract, they recognize that artists prefer to work on their music, advances are given so that artists have time to write, rehearse, record, perform, and so on. In most cases, labels offer artists in advance because they believe that they can make money on the artist playing a simple... Well, all we are doing here is shifting that scenario so that you are your own record label, and from a position standpoint, those advances are so important to basically pay rent, your car payment, food, all the necessities of life without working down at the local hardware store. Yeah, of course. In order for this to be a good deal, you must believe that you can make money off your own heart, you don't you...

0:09:56.4 S1: Or else you wouldn't be willing to dedicate your life to it, right. So sign yourself to a lifetime contract right now. I know some people love to say it's only about the art, but as we have addressed here many times, I mastitis chart that that way of thinking is actually limiting, and there I say delusional, say Chris dilution, Al, it's still all about the art, but the lifelong pursuit of it is also about the energy and the time and the attention it takes to create, it requires an atmosphere, a presence and a confidence that can't be afforded when you have to worry about paying next month bills instead. The concept of as urbane is simple in your business checking account where all your business money flows, there is always one month's expense is still in the account at the end of each month. For example, if you're a monthly expenses for your budget, indicate that you need 5000 each month to cover your expenses, then that is how much you still left over at the end of each month as you head into the new month, think of it as getting that advance again, at the end of each month, and that by receiving that, you are again, confident that your bills will be covered while you focus on writing and rehearsing and recording and performing in all of those elements that allow you to showcase your best, this works in balance with your forecasting tool that we've talked about so much so that you can stay confident that the current month's work will be on track to maintain the advance for the following month, the simple adjustment, dare I say re-tuning Chris from the normal to sailing, different approach.

0:11:42.0 S1: It'll change everything for you.

0:11:43.4 S2: So you will hear things differently, you'll follow new ideas with open willingness and without fear that Bill is taking up that space in your head, knocking on your door while you're trying to get the perfect vocal take. Do you know how... And you know that there's a drummer at your door, they deliver a pizza is gonna be knocking, keep speeding out. Not to, I know

0:12:08.6 S1: That

0:12:08.8 S2: I'm just saying. But for the joke, the drummers that increase tendons.

0:12:14.8 S1: How do you go about doing this? Well, that can hold many different answers for different people, so some of you might already have this money in savings and you just need to make some adjustments as you fine-tuned to this, as a little bit there has some... However, this will be a harder thing to create, and I say create as... I like the idea that what we are is creating this fund much like a song, it starts with the idea with a clear meaning, and then it's just about figuring out how to put it together when we discussed and budgeting, how to look at your debt and remove that one idea out of the gates is that you've been paying that interest rate for how long and you've been making it this far, so far.

0:13:12.9 S2: That's a great place to start to find some of that number for your savings for the month that you... You know, you've already been paying, so now that you're out of that, you can take that previous interest rate that you were paying in addition to and start being a squirrel and putting that in one brand like that one. I don't know where that came from.

0:13:32.5 S1: You and your nuts in the ground, it starts with knowing what the advanced number is for you, refer to your budget for that, like Dave said, it should be the number of all your expenses in your budget, but not including your monthly savings for taxes or investments. A common tactic to grow this advance quickly is to pause any investments and excessive monthly debt payments, also sort of what Dave just was saying, anything over the minimums, for example, you can stop paying over those minimums and while also spending a bit of time living well below your means, those two things together can help get you there pretty quick, and that might not sound like a lot of fun, but getting it over as quickly as possible tends to be the least painful way, at least painful approach.

0:14:22.0 S2: Safely coupons also another go to the same to 100 last night with my kington

0:14:28.6 S1: Is... Did you really... She was impressed, Olsen this done in quite a while.

0:14:37.2 S2: I'm very part of myself too. Thank you very much. See you next week.

0:14:40.5 S1: Well, the good news is that once you have this advance, the advance tends to stay there, sometimes you will go under a little and sometimes you will go over your number in the monthly income streams, but in the end, it should stay balanced and ever-present, leaving you more balanced and ever present, Dave.

0:15:02.1 S2: There are a lot of other ways that actually starting your own record label can really benefit you for both just your business and finances, but that is a topic for maybe episode 72. Today, we just wanna get the civil concept down, always having that one month advance so that your finances can function and better harmony and on a more effective frequency. Nice.

0:15:28.7 S1: Some dos and don'ts. Donut, do not ever use the advance to pay our regular bills or unexpected costs, that is the job for your emergency fund, and we'll talk more about that. Do come up with a fun name for your renal and be sure that you think it first continued support each month as your advance shows up. Mine is actually called apple theory. It's a

0:15:54.4 S2: Great name, Chris. Very creative, A for apple.

0:15:59.1 S1: You know, I have a long story and why that's actually called that, but I won't go into it today, we all... I'll say, Well, because the time they can fast forward, people still say this word

0:16:10.0 S2: Beep ahead 10 seconds, if you want her of the story.

0:16:13.4 S1: I mean, it really came back down to a health thing in the past, when I was reading a lot of different people's theories on nutrition and stuff, and someone was always like, Well, there's the theory that you eat an apple every day and it helps you make better choices, it's like a thing that rolls into the next good choice and the next good choice, and so it was called to apple theory, and so that was why I turned that into my name for my record label is a great story. We think it makes more sense now. Yeah, because I like to think that each decision that I make, that's a good decision does lead to making more good decisions a little easier in my business, right.

0:16:52.0 S2: Well, one good decision I made was being friends with you over 10 years ago, and this is the last donut, do not feel like this is impossible or hopeless, those are just excuses to not try, and before I met you, I think I did feel that way about finances, and it was a scary thing to go into, and since we became friends so many years ago and even starting, I think seven years ago, I started to talk about this, but you had already made it clear as we discussed just getting out of debt in our finances as musicians and how we do this as a living, it felt less impossible unless hopeless, and now over seven years, this is something that is more fun and educational for me that this podcast exists because of it, so it isn't impossible and isn't homeless. That's great.

0:17:45.0 S1: So what's the name of your apple theory to

0:17:48.9 S2: Go. Okay, not to be confused with yours.

0:17:52.7 S1: Yeah, well, we got one action step for you, and that is to find your advanced number from your budget and figure out nine ways you can help make that happen within three months, you can use coupons and you can use interest rate after that. So your dad is done, so now you have seven ways that you have to come up with...

0:18:17.2 S2: Please share them with us.

0:18:18.9 S1: Well, these numbers are not coincidence, they're all in harmony was 4 32, by the way, if you mathematically do these numbers, but I do also wanna say that you can go to...
