AIMEE GIESE
Aimee Giese is graphic designer, web developer, social media strategist, photographer, blogger and non-sleeper from Denver. She used to co-own a multimedia development firm that created large-scale health education research projects, but has been freelance and remote for the past decade. Her blog Greeblehaus.com celebrated its 15th anniversary last November, and while she started out as a parent blogger - she primarily focuses on music, concert photography and travel now.
From Amy: I’m Aimee Giese (rhymes with easy) and I am a business owner, graphic designer, web developer, photographer and blogger from Denver, Colorado. My husband Bryan and I have one son, Dex, who has headed off to college, so we’re now empty nesters. What!
This site celebrated being 16 years old in November 2021. I used to be more of a mom or parent blogger, but Greeblehaus now primarily posts about concerts, music, travel, events and tech. We like to have fun, and we hope you enjoy spending your time online with us.
The Name
I used to be Greeblemonkey… both “Greeble” and “Monkey” were my son’s nicknames when he was in my belly. Monkey because he was constantly jumping around, and Greeble because my husband is insane. Seriously. He just made that word up (or at least thought he did: see the animation and psychology terms). NO it’s not my last name, NO it’s not a space alien – it’s just a silly word from some silly people. I changed to Greeblehaus in 2014 to show some of my heritage, and to be more of an umbrella site since “haus” is German for “house.”
My Company
I used to co-own a 35 person communications research and web development firm in Denver. In a nutshell, the company builds health education websites that help people. During my tenure, we were named one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America and #50 among all Colorado woman-owned businesses. In 2011, I sold my half of the company and went out on my own.
I’m now Giese Media. I work in the four areas I love most: Graphic Design, Web Development, Social Media, and Photography.

Brands & Advertising
I work with brands on projects that match me, my life, my family and my readers. Most often that means music, concerts, festivals, going out, travel and tech, but it could be anything! Examples of past and ongoing brand partnerships include Nintendo, PBS Kids/PBS, Coca Cola, Ford, AT&T, Riu Hotels and the ONE Campaign.
